Aur Traminer Passito IGT Delle Venezie is a sweet and very fragrant wine produced by the Ronco del Gelso winery. The brilliant color of this wine is deduced from the Friulian term Aur, used to identify gold, the result of the drying and vinification of only Traminer grapes. The intent of the winery is to exploit the potential of this aromatic white grape variety to create an intense sweet wine. The vineyards, cultivated with the Guyot system, are managed with passion and rigor up to the ripening of the bunches and the manual harvest. Once destemming is complete, fermentation begins, which involves the use of only selected yeasts. The subsequent refinement takes place in small oak barrels and lasts for a year until bottling. Aur Traminer Passito IGT Delle Venezie is a dessert wine that can be enjoyed with enormous satisfaction even after 7-8 years of further aging in the cellar.
