Badin is a peasant family that has always worked the land. 1988 is the date of birth of Ronco del Gelso: that year it was bottled for the first time and a slow change began for the company that transformed it from a livestock farm to a wine-growing one. From those first 3,000 bottles which bore the name Ronco del Gelso on the label for the first time, they have reached the current 150,000 bottles per year. Giorgio Badin transformed Ronco from a small paternal winery into one of the major Isonzo Doc realities. Ronco del Gelso stands out because it perfectly supports the characteristics of the territory and the grapes, always adopting minimally invasive agronomic techniques that respect the recognizability of the vine. Only in this way is it possible to create a truly surprising range of labels of the highest quality.
