'SottoMonte' Sauvignon Friuli Isonzo DOC Ronco del Gelso 2020

Friuli Isonzo Rive Alte DOC Sauvignon Sottomonte from the prestigious Friulian farm Ronco del Gelso is a first-rate white wine, which has achieved a prestigious oenological result and which embodies a strong territorial imprint. A label which, in its name, also has that of the Rive Alte sub-area, where all the best company vineyards are grown, the same sub-area (Cru, to use it in French) which gives this wine its original peculiarities. Fruit of grapes from the Cormons vineyards, Friuli Isonzo Rive Alte DOC Sauvignon Sottomonte is born from the vinification of 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes which, after the harvest, are taken to the cellar to be suitably processed. Here follows a fermentation in steel, after which the wine is aged for a year in oak barrels. The final product is a balanced, soft and full-bodied white, an elegant wine that emerges for its particularly delicate aromatic notes. An interesting label to be tried.
