Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
The Barolo DOCG of the Municipality of Serralunga d'Alba is an elegant and full-bodied red wine, produced by the Piedmontese winery Rivetto . The label is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, a well-known and appreciated native variety. The bunches come from the vineyards located in the localities of Serra, Manocino and San Bernardo. On clayey and calcareous substrates, rich in magnesium and iron, the vines can draw the nutrients necessary for development up to the time of the accurate manual harvest. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are left to ferment spontaneously with only indigenous yeasts. This step lasts about 25 days and includes maceration on the skins. For refinement, the company focuses on large Slavonian oak barrels, where the wine rests for two and a half years. Barolo DOCG from the Municipality of Serralunga d'Alba boasts considerable potential for further evolution, reserving pleasant surprises even after 7-8-10 years.
