Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG from the Fattoi company is one of the leading labels of the famous Tuscan winery. In the company vineyards, located in the splendid valley where the Orcia and Ombrone rivers meet, a fine quality of Sangiovese Grosso is grown, the absolute protagonist of this wine. The vines are rooted in a land traditionally suited to viticulture. We are on the southern side of the municipality of Montalcino: here the soil is made up of sand and clay, the climate is mild and the winters are never too cold. The bunches are harvested by hand in October; the must, after a short fermentation, ages for six years, three of which in small wooden barrels. Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Fattoi is a complex red, endowed with a smooth drinkability, but at the same time rich in nuances. Perfect to drink immediately, it has a remarkable longevity; the evolution in the cellar, which can easily exceed ten years, accentuates the tight but never excessive tannin.
