Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a wine that originates in the Marroneto cellar. Located in one of the most suitable areas for viticulture, the company represents one of the most important historical realities in the area. The grapes come from Sangiovese vines, grown in purity on soils rich in sand and minerals at 400 meters above sea level. Thanks to the mild climate, the plants always reach optimal maturity. The works in the vineyard and in the cellar require few interventions, in order to best preserve the quality. After the harvest and the selection of the best grapes, fermentation takes place in steel with maceration on the skins for 12 days. The refinement takes place in large oak barrels for about 36 months and before being put on the market it requires a further rest period of 10 months in the bottle. Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is an elegant and full-bodied wine, ideal to be tasted immediately, but it can also rest in the cellar for over 10 years.
