Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

The Chianti Classico DOCG red wine from the Monteraponi winery is obtained using 95% Sangiovese grapes and Canaiolo grapes for the remaining 5%. The vineyards, with an average age of 15 years, are located on the Tuscan hills at an altitude of around 500 meters on soils with a prevalently calcareous structure. To this factor is added the very favorable climate which ensures the production of fine grapes. This winery boasts a long experience which is based on a respectful use of the territory and on the application of artisanal production techniques. The production of Chianti Classico DOCG wine begins with the harvest, rigorously done by hand. Fermentation takes place in vitrified cement tanks with maceration on the skins and continuous mixing. The subsequent maturation takes place in French (or Slavonian) oak barrels for a prolonged period before refinement in the bottle. The result is a full-bodied and robust wine, balanced and easy to drink that lends itself to being consumed on special occasions or elegant and formal dinners.
