Description
The Chardonnay Cuvée Bois is recognized nationally and internationally for its elegance and style. The noble tannins deriving from the selected precious woods, the sur lies aging and the repeated bâtonnages give it a broad complexity and a remarkable balance. These are the salient features of a great wine, so pleasantly present in this label. How do you get it? Selection of the best Chardonnay grapes, refrigeration and soft pressing of the whole bunch of grapes, fermentation in 300-litre French oak barriques, toasted over a high flame, and aging "sur lies" for 12 months in the same, with weekly bâtonnages. Bottle aging for 1-2 months. In the glass we find a yellow color, with golden reflections. Intense and complex on the nose, with aromas of white fruit, hazelnut, vanilla, banana and candied citron and mineral and spicy nuances. Dense and rich on the palate, with an elegant and harmonious finish. Excellent!
