Eruzione 1614 Carricante Bianco Sicilia DOC is a wine produced in the Planeta cellar in Menfi. The company was founded in 1995, but in a few years it has managed to carve out a fundamental role in the wine world, thanks to the hard work and passion of the owners. The grapes come from the Carricante vines and a small percentage of Riesling, grown at about 815 meters above sea level, on soils rich in minerals and sand and favored by the mild climate, typical of Sicily. After the manual harvest, the grapes are selected and subjected to crushing-destemming and then to soft pressing. The subsequent fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 5 months on the fine lees. The refinement of about 6 months is always carried out in steel tanks and finally we proceed with the bottling and placing on the market. Eruzione 1614 Carricante Bianco Sicilia DOC is a persistent and fresh wine, which is well suited for ready to drink.
