'Fileno' Grillo DOC Sicily CVA Canicattì 2022

The Fileno Grillo DOC Sicilia white wine from the CVA Viticultori Canicattì winery is obtained using only the finest Grillo grapes. The vineyards are located on the hills of western Sicily, around Marsala, and enjoy a particular position at medium altitude which allows them to benefit from an optimal climate. Added to this is the particular structure of the soil which ensures the perfect ripening of the grapes. For about 40 years this winery has been operating in compliance with production traditions, but with an attentive eye to technological innovation. The production of Fileno Grillo DOC Sicilia white wine requires careful selection of the bunches during the harvest in order to immediately carry out a soft pressing. After fermentation, maturation takes place first in steel and then directly in the bottle. In this way a wine is obtained that is easy to drink, refined and well structured, with discreet intensity and so much elegance that it lends itself to being consumed during a cheerful dinner in the company of friends.
