'Gazzerotta' Grillo Superiore Sicilia DOC Cantine Pellegrino 2021

Gazzerotta Grillo Superiore Sicilia DOC was born in the Trapani area, from the experience of Cantine Pellegrino 1880 . It is obtained only from 100% Grillo grapes, coming from vines over 35 years old which give the wine great structure and softness. The vines are grown on the 90 hectares of land of the Gazzerotta estate, located in Mazara del Vallo. The land is located on a clayey plateau which enjoys a warm and sunny climate. At the end of the harvest, the grapes undergo a soft pressing. A must is obtained which is left to ferment in steel vats, where it ages for 4 months. Gazzerotta Grillo Superiore Sicilia DOC is a ready-to-drink label that manages to perfectly balance elegance and intensity. It also proves to be a rather long-lived wine, if left to rest for a few more years in the cellar, it can give new aromatic nuances.
