Gruner Veltliner AA Valle Isarco DOC Strasserhof 2022

Grüner Veltliner Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC is a white wine produced by the Dolomites winery Strasserhof . It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Grüner Veltliner grapes, a grape variety particularly widespread in Tyrol and characterized by a marked aromatic profile. In the Valle d'Isarco area the vineyards rise to about 650 meters above sea level. Here the south-west exposure and the sandy and gravelly substrates provide optimal conditions for the luxuriant growth of the plants. The manual harvest represents the culmination of a careful work between the rows and generally takes place towards the end of September. Only the best bunches are transported to the cellar, where the vinification begins with the pressing of the grapes and continues with the alcoholic fermentation. The refinement involves a rest of about 7 months in stainless steel tanks. Grüner Veltliner Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC is meant to be tasted and appreciated shortly after bottling.
