'Hugonis' Sicilia DOC Rapitalà 2019

The Sicilia IGT Hugonis red wine from the Rapitalà estate is obtained from a refined blend of Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The cultivation of these vines takes place on land at an altitude between 300 and 400 meters where the particular composition of the soil and the excellent climatic conditions ensure an ideal growth of the plants and the production of excellent quality grapes. Work, passion and love for the vineyard are the success factors of this winery which over the years has become a point of reference in the Sicilian wine sector. The production cycle of this wine is studied in detail, right from the harvest which takes place scrupulously by hand to prevent the bunches from being damaged. The vinification takes place with a slow maceration in stainless steel tanks followed by a period of maturation before refinement in the bottle. In the end, a robust and full-bodied wine is obtained, of excellent intensity, slightly sapid, with a light fruity aftertaste and light tannic hints. Bottle to uncork on any occasion.
