Kelbi Catarratto Terre Siciliane IGT , produced by the renowned Cantine Pellegrino company, is an elegant and fragrant white wine. On the land surrounding Mazara del Vallo, there are vineyards where the grapes of the native Catarratto variety are grown, destined to be vinified alone to produce this wine. The peculiarities of the substrate, composed largely of sand and limestone, give the grapes the typical minerality. Between the rows, the harvest involves a manual check, which aims to select the perfectly ripe bunches. In the cellar the grapes are lightly pressed and then fermented at a controlled temperature in steel. The same material is chosen for the subsequent 4-month refinement, so as to preserve the freshness of this wine intact. It follows that Kelbi Catarratto Terre Siciliane IGT is a ready-to-drink white.
