'The Act' Basilicata IGT Aglianico del Vulture Cantine del Notaio 2022

The Atto is a red wine produced by the prestigious Lucanian winery Cantine del Notaio. A Basilicata IGT made with 100% Aglianico del Vulture grapes, the fruit of vines worked with methods inspired by the criteria of biodynamic and organic agriculture. A successful wine for a red with a strong personality that has obtained various awards, including the 4 bunches of the Bibenda Guide, which defined it as a wine of great level and outstanding value. To be produced this wine follows a manual harvest that takes place in the first days of October, after which the grapes are vinified in steel, then the Atto is aged for one year in French oak tonneaux placed inside caves natural volcanic tuff. The result is a medium-bodied red, for an original and intense wine, excellent when young and very interesting if left to rest in the cellar for 2 or 3 years.
