Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Tiefenbrunner was officially born as a winery in 1848 but has its roots much further away and it is precisely from this long experience of producing high quality wines that the Turmhof Alto Adige Lagrein DOC wine was born. The 100% Lagrein grapes with which it is made are grown in the areas of Niclara and Cortaccia at 230 - 350 meters above sea level in a vineyard that stands out for its southeast exposure and the calcareous gravel of moraine sediments. After the harvest, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks and subsequently the wine is left to mature for 8 months in small and medium-sized wooden barrels. Turmhof Alto Adige Lagrein DOC is a ready-to-drink wine, characterized by that pleasant acidity that best expresses the character of the native vines of Alto Adige, of an intense red color with violet reflections and a full and fruity sip.
