'Les Genievres' Macon Lugny Louis Latour 2021

The Macon Lugny Les Genievres produced by Louis Latour is a white wine from the south of the wonderful Burgundy region of France, where the Latour farm has owned vineyards since the seventeenth century. The region's climate is relatively warm and the clayey soil makes this area perfect for growing vineyards. Vinified with 100% Chardonnay grapes planted over 30 years ago, Macon Lugny Les Genievres is an excellent wine to be enjoyed both just ready and aged. It is one of the most famous and appreciated white wines of Lugny, very fresh and versatile, suitable to be sipped on many occasions. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature and aging requires 8 to 10 months, also in steel. Louis Latour's Macon Lugny Les Genievres is a wine classified AOC, appellation d'origine contrôlée, the French equivalent of our DOC wine.
