Pantelleria winemakers for six generations. Salvatore Murana has always had a passion for wine, since childhood he has breathed, seen, experienced harvesting and winemaking. This "childish love" has become, intuitively first and then consciously, a "life choice". Thus was born in the 70s the first nucleus of what would later become the Salvatore Murana Vini agricultural company .

Salvatore Murana's centuries-old vineyards currently extend over approximately 17 hectares of land, of very young volcanic origin, in locations on the island with different climatic and geological conditions: Martingana, Gadir, Mueggen, Khamma, Coste, Ghirlanda and Barone. Specific soils with peculiar characteristics for specific productions, united by the personality and character of the producer himself. Only in this way is it possible to create the greatest "sweet heat wine" in the world. Heat wines must be able to tell a story to those who drink them, be long-lived, without being cloying, making those who drink them anywhere in the world smile.

Salvatore Murana's sweet wines are concentrated and robust wines , an expression of the heat, light and sea of Sicily . They have been awarded and recognized throughout the world as the great excellence of Sicily, but for Salvatore this recognition is not a point of arrival or a confirmation, but rather a continuous stimulus and an insatiable tension towards absolute excellence.
