Domaine Servin

Chablis, Burgundy. Chardonnays are made here that are considered, without a shadow of a doubt, among the best in the world and Domain Servin is one of the largest and most prestigious wineries in the area. Since 1654 the Servins have been active in Chablis as wine producers. Today they are proprietor-récoltants now in their seventh generation, with an estate that extends over a total vineyard area of 35 hectares, spread across all the main appellations of Chablis: Petit Chablis and Chablis, Chablis Vieille Vignes from mass selection, to which are added four Premier Crus (Montée de Tonnerre, Vaillons, Forêts and Butteaux) and four Grand Crus (Les Preuses, Bougros, Blanchot and Les Clos). This very wide variety of sub-areas allows separate harvests and vinifications, with the creation of many different labels that give unique sensations and emotions from each other, making the Domaine Servin one of the most complete and intriguing of all Chablis, from the point of view of 'offer. In the vineyard, there is the utmost respect for nature and the ecosystem, so the plants are cultivated methodically, limiting the use of invasive practices and harmful substances. In the cellar, the same philosophy applies, whereby in the wake of the most historic and ancient local traditions, the grapes are processed by reducing human interventions to allow the wine to express the entire terroir of reference.
