Domaine de Bellene is a recently founded winery, founded in 2005 on the initiative of the young Nicolas Potel. The business is located in the Burgundy area, precisely in the Côte de Beaune area, known throughout the world for its deep-rooted winemaking tradition and notable food and wine heritage. Burgundy wines are among the most illustrious and appreciated internationally, as they represent an authentic symbol of the connection with the past and with the land. Suffice it to say that in these places real tours are organized aimed at discovering the most famous and important vineyards: oenology is therefore closely connected to the economic and tourist development of the area. At the Domaine de Bellene company, objectives such as eco-sustainability, respect for the environment and the organic cultivation method are pursued. The common thread of the entire production process is simplicity. For Domaine de Bellene, the cult of terroir, authenticity and genuineness is essential: the company uses only native grapes to affirm its territoriality and to create wines that are immediately recognizable everywhere. Among the favorite vines, Chardonnay should be mentioned, planted in Burgundy by the monks of the Pontigny Abbey and spread throughout the world starting from the 19th century. The other dominant grape variety at the winery in question is Pinot Noir, a black grape, considered among the most noble of all in the oenology panorama. From it we obtain the Savigny-Les-Beaune Villages Vielles Vignes, an aromatic and velvety red. In short, extraordinary wines.
