Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The parcel of Pinot Noir that is used for this wine was planted as far back as 1927, a few steps from Clos Vougeot, one of the most famous crus of Burgundy and on the border with the Echezeaux AOC appellation, one of the most famous of Burgundy.
In conversion to organic farming since it became the property of the estate, the land is even worked with horse traction, therefore without the use of tractors. Strictly manual harvest and selection of grapes. Barefoot treading. Aged in medium-sized wooden barrels (tonneau). The result is an extremely evocative red of the territory, the great Burgundy, rich in complexity and, at the same time, elegance and finesse. With light and bright colors, the nose shows floral aromas of rose and violet. The taste is sinuous, persuasive, elegant, with a well-present tannin, but already quite smooth. Important longevity prospects for this great Burgundy Pinot Noir.
