Villa Medoro

Medoro is a small village near Atri, an area of the Teramo hills, which overlooks the green Adriatic. Here the Morricone family has been producing wine since the early seventies, but only in 1997 was Villa Medoro born, thanks to the impulse and dynamism of Federica, the third generation of the family who decided to bet on quality, thus opening new horizons to family production. The love for an extraordinary territory, the valorisation of native vines and respect for tradition: from these ingredients the Villa Medoro wines are born, a frank and authentic expression of the way of being Abruzzo. Villa Medoro has 92 hectares of vineyards, divided into four buildings, cared for with peasant passion, but with a keen eye for the most modern viticulture techniques.

Gianni Masciarelli acted as a guide to Federica Morricone: the determination and ideologies of the well-known Abruzzo producer represented for her food for thought and an element of stimulus to ensure that Villa Medoro became a reference wine-growing model for Abruzzo, with passion, modesty and a great desire to learn.
