Pecorino Abruzzo Terre di Chieti IGT Villa Medoro 2019

Pecorino Abruzzo Terre di Chieti IGT is one of the traditional wines of Villa Medoro. This winery is located in the tiny Medoro, a village in the province of Teramo. Thanks to the calcareous soil of this area of Abruzzo and the relative proximity to the sea, the company successfully cultivates the typical vines of this region. The white in question is produced entirely from Pecorino vines. The harvest takes place mechanically during the month of September. The harvested grapes are used in the winemaking process; the latter begins with cold maceration. The alcoholic fermentation of the must is carried out at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Finally, the wine is bottled and left to age before being finally marketed. Pecorino Abruzzo Terre di Chieti IGT is a fresh and fragrant white, with fruity and floral notes, a good gustatory intensity and excellent acidity which guarantees a very pleasant drinkability.
