Malvasia 'Vigna 80 Anni' Collio DOC I Clivi 2022

Malvasia Vigna 80 years Collio DOC is a wine produced at the I Clivi winery in Corno di Rosazzo. The company was founded in 1996 and is managed by father and son animated by the same passion: enhancing the territory and respecting the environment thanks to natural processing. The grapes come from Istrian Malvasia vines grown at 200 meters above sea level on soils rich in mineral salts and where the climate is particularly cool and sunny. After the manual harvest we proceed with the pressing of the whole bunch and the must obtained then undergoes static decantation without destemming. The next phase is that of fermentation which takes place in steel tanks on indigenous yeasts. Before proceeding with bottling and marketing, the wine needs to rest for 1 year in steel tanks on the fine lees. Malvasia Vigna 80 years Collio DOC is an elegant and aromatic wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but can rest in the cellar for about 4 years.
