'Oltremé' Salento Rosso IGT Susumaniello Tenute Rubino 2018

Susumaniello Oltremè produced by the renowned Salento winery Tenute Rubino is a terroir red wine, an Apulian excellence, a great standard-bearer of the important values of the local winemaking tradition. This wine, the fruit of a native vine, has received various awards and recognitions from national and international critics, including that of the Gambero Rosso Guide, which classified it as an excellent wine. Susumaniello Oltremè takes shape from Susumaniello grapes vinified in purity, the fruit of vineyards cultivated in the Salento IGT area. After the harvest by hand in the first days of October, the grapes are transported to the cellar, where they are subjected to fermentation with maceration in steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine obtained is aged for 10 months in steel, after which it is bottled. Before being marketed, however, it is still refined in glass for a minimum period of 2 months. The final product is an enveloping red with spicy scents. A savory sip label for a soft, harmonious and persistent wine.
