Pinot Noir Vineyards of the Dolomites IGT Pojer and Sandri 2022

Pinot Nero Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is a fragrant red wine, produced by the Trentino winery Pojer e Sandri . The label is obtained from the vinification of Pinot Nero grapes, an international variety that expresses itself in an excellent way in Trentino Alto Adige. The vineyards are located near Faedo, about 400 meters above sea level. The plots boast soils of volcanic origin and rich in limestone, which guarantee the vines the ideal nourishment until the time of the harvest. After being carefully selected by hand, the best bunches arrive in the cellar. Here the work begins with the alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel vats. The brief refinement takes place in large oak barrels and lasts for a few months, until the spring following the harvest. Pinot Nero Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is an excellent red wine to be savored already after bottling, as well as after a further evolution of 3-4 years in the cellar.
