Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
The Ravello Rosso Riserva DOC is a wine produced at the Marisa Cuomo winery in San Michele. The company is one of the most interesting realities on the Campania wine scene. The grapes come from the Piedirosso and Aglianico vines, grown on lands exposed to the South, South/West at about 400 meters above sea level. The soil rich in rocks and limestone, together with the mild climate, gives greater expression to the cultivation. After the harvest, which takes place at the end of October, we proceed with destemming and crushing, to then continue with fermentation. Following the 20-day maceration, malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barriques. Finally, the refinement is always carried out in barriques for 12 months at the end of which the wine can be bottled and marketed. Ravello Rosso Riserva DOC is a full-bodied and soft wine, which is well suited for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for a long time.
