Riesling AA Valle Isarco DOC Strasserhof 2022

Riesling Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC is a fresh and fragrant white wine, made by the Bolzano-based Strasserhof winery. It is obtained from the vinification of only grapes of the white Riesling variety. The vineyards facing south-west are located near Varna, a place linked to viticulture for centuries. The plots, located 750 meters above sea level, boast sandy and gravelly soils, ideal for viticulture. The harvest takes place in September, which allows only the best bunches to be selected. In the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and left to ferment in stainless steel tanks. Half of the lot is always aged in steel, while the remaining part rests in oak barrels. After eight months, the wine is blended and bottled. Riesling Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC can be tasted with satisfaction immediately, as well as after a couple of years of further evolution.
