Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Roero DOCG , produced by the Almondo Giovanni winery , was born on hilly soils that are rather sandy and calcareous. The wine is made with 100% Nebbiolo Lampia grapes, grown in vineyards over thirty years old, which are arranged with the best southern exposure. The Almondo company is located in the locality of Montà and owns eighteen hectares of vineyards cared for with dedication and sustainable techniques, trying to minimize any chemical intervention during the entire production. The harvest of its grapes takes place in the first ten days of October, followed by a vinification in contact with the skins for a few weeks. The Giovanni Almondo Roero DOCG then spends a period of eighteen months in aging in large oak barrels, during which it acquires all its particular scents and aromas. At the end of its production, the result is a very elegant wine that fascinates and enchants with every sip.
