Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Description
Rouge Amiral G is an extraordinary wine and is produced in the Château Vaudieu of the Famille Bréchet which has been producing quality wines since 1767 in the area with the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, the largest and most important in the Rhône valley. The extension of the crops is over 70 hectares and these are totally vineyards, positioned on hillsides and on terraces with the best possible exposure. The terroir is mainly composed of red Comtat sandstone, very conducive to the growth of the vine. This wine is produced in purity from a specific plot (Cru) of the native Grenache Noir vine, with very old vines (low production, very high quality). The processing is very meticulous and the wine is finally aged in barriques (located in the company's underground cellars) for about 18 months. By the glass it is a sumptuous, important, complex wine with high aging potential (several years) which will make it increasingly mature and harmonious. The nose reveals citrus and red fruit notes, the mouth plays on freshness and finesse, with toasted and spicy nuances, characteristic of Grenache on sandy soil. It boasts a very high score from the Wine Advocate magazine, one of the most prestigious in the sector: 96/100!
