'Sass Russ' Colline Novaresi DOC Podere ai Valloni 2018

The Sass Russ Colline Novaresi DOC from the Podere ai Valloni company comes from the skilful blending of 50% Nebbiolo grapes and 50% rare grapes. These vines, no less than 35 years old, are trained on the Guyot and Silvoz method in the Boca district, in upper Piedmont. We are at the center of the Valsesia Supervolcano, an area known and appreciated for the high quality of its wines since Roman times. The land in these parts is composed of purplish-red porphyritic rocks and is characterized by a mild and windy climate. The vineyards are grown according to the principles of certified organic agriculture, without any chemical weeding and treatments reduced to the bare minimum. The bunches, selected manually, undergo an initial refinement in steel in the cellar and a subsequent maturation in the bottle for a period of no less than 2-3 months. Sass Russ Colline Novaresi DOC Podere ai Valloni is a ready-to-drink wine, with a medium structure and an excellent drinkability, really pleasant.
