Description
Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a wine produced at the Zorzettig cellar in Spessa. It is a very old company, a point of reference for the winemaking tradition of Friuli. The grapes come from the Sauvignon vines, in an area characterized by clayey soils rich in sandstone marls of Eocene origin. The plants enjoy a sunny climate thanks also to the barrier against cold currents formed by the Julian Alps. After the manual harvest, the best bunches are pressed and the juice obtained is sent to fermentation in steel tanks. The refinement always takes place in the same containers for 5 months at the end of which, it needs a further month of rest in the bottle. The final stage is marketing. Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a balanced and elegant wine, which can be tasted immediately with maximum fragrance and finesse.
