Sauvignon 'Myò' Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Zorzettig 2019

Sauvignon Myò Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a fragrant white wine from the Zorzettig winery. It is obtained from the vinification of only grapes of the international Sauvignon Blanc variety. The owned plots are located in the lower areas of the hills near Spessa di Cividale. Here the vines enjoy particularly favorable conditions to grow luxuriantly up to the manual harvest. The harvest generally takes place at the beginning of September and involves the careful selection of the best bunches. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are left to macerate briefly at low temperatures. Alcoholic fermentation follows, which takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks for about two weeks. The wine remains in the same containers for refinement, which ends in the spring following the harvest. Sauvignon Myò Friuli Colli Orientali DOC can be appreciated already after bottling, as well as after a couple of years of evolution.
