Sauvignon Peri Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a white wine produced by the Ronco del Gnemiz winery . To make this label, Sauvignon grapes are vinified alone, a variety widespread internationally that draws great benefit from the peculiarities of the Friulian hills. With a view to preserving the uniqueness of the terroir, the vines are grown organically with great attention to keeping the ecosystem in balance. The sustainable practices continue until the moment of the manual harvest which provides for a careful selection of the bunches. In the cellar, the winemaking processes begin with destemming and continue with alcoholic fermentation, a phase that takes place in oak barrels. For refinement, the company focuses on tradition, always putting the wine to rest in French barriques for at least a year. Sauvignon Peri Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a perfect white wine immediately, as well as after 1-2 years of careful storage in the cellar.
