'Stravino di Stravino' Vineyards of the Dolomites White IGT Pravis 2019

Stravino di Stravino Vigneti delle Dolomiti Bianco IGT is an intense and complex white wine, made by the Pravis winery. It is the result of a blend composed mainly of Riesling grapes (40%), to which are added Kerner, Chardonnay and Incrocio Manzoni, present in equal measure. The vineyards are located on alluvial soils with a good presence of silt. On the plateau, the conditions are ideal for the vines to produce healthy bunches. This proves to be important for the production philosophy which provides for leaving some bunches overripe on the vine, while others are left to dry in the lofts for 3 weeks. The vinification follows separate paths based on the grape variety. After the soft pressing, fermentation at low temperatures is foreseen. Following the assembly of the different lots, the wine ages for 9 months in oak barrels and another year after bottling. Stravino di Stravino Vigneti delle Dolomiti Bianco IGT is immediately excellent and capable of improving after 3-4 years of further rest.
