Description

Sauvignon Blanc Urra di Mare is one of Mandrarossa's iconic wines. The Mandrarossa winery is based in Menfi, in the province of Agrigento. Here, on the thriving Sicilian soil, the company cultivates the most disparate varieties of Italian and international vines, always resorting to innovative techniques. The Sauvignon Blanc Urra di Mare is the result of this company philosophy. It is produced exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, grown in the immediate vicinity of the Belice reserve and the sea, from which a beneficial breeze comes throughout the year. Following the harvest, the grapes are transferred to the cellar for cryomaceration in the press and subsequently for temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine, before being bottled, spends about three months inside these steel tanks for maturation, after which it spends a further four months inside the bottle itself. The finished product is a fresh white wine with a persistent aroma, which can be enjoyed immediately.
