Description
Bila Haut L'Esquerda is a red wine made by the French winery Chapoutier Michel. Most of its characteristics derive from the territory it belongs to, which is that of the northern Côtes du Rhône, the true cradle of Syrah. The vines that give life to it are three: Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. The grapes are harvested by hand, between mid-September and mid-October. They will then be macerated for about four weeks. 10% of the wine is aged in wooden barrels, while the remainder in concrete tanks. In the mouth it is a generous, fresh, delicate, persistent and well-structured wine. Certainly young today, it can develop its peculiarities up to 5 or 6 years after the year of production.
