Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Cornas Les Arenes'17 Chapoutier is one of the flagships of the homonymous maison Chapoutier Michel. This French red wine comes to life from the vineyards located in the Rhone valley, on soils with a high marl content and which have a marked temperature range. An important added value of this important winery is the absolute respect for nature: for this reason, the company produces its wines following the principles of agriculture and biodynamic production. For the production of the wine, 100% Syrah is used, carefully selected by hand. Fermentation represents the first part of the winemaking process and, after a 3-week maceration, the wine is transferred to oak barriques. The refinement lasts for at least 14 months, the period of time necessary to bring out all the organoleptic characteristics. It is an intense, deep, substantially soft, round wine, with present but not annoying tannins. Definitely an important wine, for long aging, already ready today to give us emotions, with combinations of meat or game.
