The Merlot 1.618 from the small Leuta boutique-cellar is an intense and structured red wine obtained from French clones of Merlot, carefully selected and planted in the suitable hilly area of Cortona. The result is a red of great intensity and structure, very captivating. 1.618 di Leuta takes its name from the irrational number of the Golden Section, a symbol of balance and harmony since ancient times, which we also find in the shape and designs of the label. The Merlot Leuta 1.681 truly respects balance with its balanced structure and complexity. All this is made possible thanks to the skilful processing, with a one-year refinement in different Allier French oak barriques. This refinement contributes to the complexity of the wine, to the contribution of olfactory and gustatory elegance, to its softness and roundness. Great wine!
