Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

The Barbaresco DOCG Giuseppe Cortese 2017 wine is created by the Cortese winery which, for over three generations, has been making wine from the most important vines of its territory, including Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo. Barbaresco wine is certainly influenced by the climate and by the homonymous land where it is born: the optimal exposure of the vineyards, and the uniqueness of the microclimate, ensures that the production of grapes is greater than in other areas, also qualitatively speaking. The wine, with garnet red nuances, offers aromatic notes with fruity and spicy tones, with some lighter notes tending towards earthy and tobacco. The flavor is juicy, and its structure is balanced on the palate, with the right amount of flavor and acidity. Barbaresco DOCG Giuseppe Cortese 2017 is a pleasant and elegant wine, excellent to serve with first and second courses especially based on meat, such as noodles with roast sauce or with beef stew.
