Coteaux Champenois AOC Bouzy Red Paul Clouet 2018

Coteaux Champenois Bouzy Rouge is a red wine produced by the Paul Clouet winery, a legend of champagne production. It is an unusual and fragrant red, which manages to bring out all the varietal characteristics of a vine such as Pinot Noir, whose grapes in this case are vinified alone. Once harvested with extreme care, the grapes are fermented in steel containers for a maximum of twelve days. This phase is then followed by refinement which, as per tradition, takes place exclusively in wooden barrels and lasts for a period of no less than two years. The result is a particularly fruity red wine characterized by a very pleasant drinkability. The Coteaux Champenois Bouzy Rouge is ideal for enhancing informal dinners with friends. In order to better appreciate the varietal scents, it should be enjoyed young or after a short rest in the cellar.
