Etna Rosso is a DOC wine produced by the Graci company with grapes from vineyards located along the northern slope of Etna, precisely in Passopisciaro. The land of the winery extends along the entire Alcantara valley. The context is unique and one of the most interesting in the Italian wine scene. The volcano, in fact, is a source of minerals which, absorbed by the vine, contribute to making the wines of this part of eastern Sicily structured and powerful. The vine used for its production is Nerello Mascalese. The variety is native to Sicily and has been bred in these sunny, sun-kissed lands for thousands of years. Some company choices offer the final consumer the opportunity to taste the true character of Sicilian wine. One of these is the use of ancient winemaking techniques combined with modernity. The premises predict the high quality. For Etna Rosso, in particular, it was decided to carry out the vinification steps in steel tanks to protect the freshness and immediacy of the drink. The result is a savory, fresh and mineral red.
