Gattinara Riserva DOCG is a wine produced in the Gattinara cellar of the municipality of the same name. The company is a cooperative founded in 1906 and thanks to the commitment of the members it has managed over time to establish itself as a prestigious reality. The grapes come from the Nebbiolo vines, grown on lands located to the North-West, of rocky origin. All the working phases are carried out with the utmost care and attention, the production philosophy is based on traditional methods, limiting human intervention to a minimum. The aim is to obtain a wine of excellent quality that is able to best express the flavor of a territory that has always been suited to viticulture. After the harvest, the best grapes are selected and left to rest for 36 months in large oak barrels. The slow maturation gives the wine greater elegance and finesse. Gattinara Riserva DOCG is a structured and delicate wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but can rest in the cellar for 3/4 years and beyond.
