Description
Le Rotaie Susumaniello Rosato Valle d'Itria PGI is a wine with fresh and fruity aromas, made by the Apulian winery I Pastini . It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Susumaniello grapes, a dark berried native variety, long forgotten and today at the center of a process of rediscovery. The plots boast optimal conditions for plant growth. On calcareous and clayey soils, the vines develop luxuriantly until the time of the harvest with manual selection of the bunches. In the cellar, the short maceration in contact with the skins allows to obtain the typical rosé colour. Once the spontaneous fermentation in steel vats has concluded, the wine remains in the same containers for the refinement phase. Before being marketed, there is a month of rest in the bottle. Le Rotaie Susumaniello Rosato Valle d'Itria PGI is ideal to be tasted immediately, in order to fully savor the unmistakable varietal notes.
