'Legend R' Bordeaux Red AOC Baron Edmond De Rothschild 2020

The Legende Rouge wine is produced in the famous Rothschild winery in the Bordeaux region, precisely in the Medoc area which has a total extension of about 112 hectares (the vineyards of the winery) exclusively used as vineyards. In the cellar are mainly cultivated vines of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and in small part vineyards of Petit verdot and Cabernet Franc; all grow on a gravelly soil which has the specificity of being particularly deep and thin and always beaten by the winds coming from the ocean. The Legende Rouge wine from the Rothshild winery is composed of 50% grapes from the Cabernet Sauvignon vine, while the remaining 50% of the grapes derive from the Merlot vine and is aged for about 9 months in steel tanks and oak barrels on the first passage . The Legende Rouge is a versatile wine, a body of medium structure and has a persistent taste. It is suitable for daily use or for an informal dinner with friends and to be enjoyed at its best it should be opened immediately after bottling or within 2 or 3 years at the latest.
