Rocca Bruno

Rocca wines tell a story of effort, study and continuous and constant training on which the unique reaction that brings nature and man to balance is based. The soils in which the vineyards are planted are clayey, tuff and limestone and are exposed to the south west. Bruno Rocca likes to say that "the truth is that the vine, as a plant, is not interested in making good wine. She respects the times of nature by aiming to give her best to survive and reproduce. Our task is to think like the vine, "identify with the plant". Only in this way will we be able to understand the right moment in which to intervene, the moment in which to pick the best fruit to obtain extraordinary wines".

Bruno Rocca's Rabajà agricultural company is located in a unique territory in the world, the cradle of its prized Barbareschi. The company currently includes 15 hectares of vineyards spread across the municipalities of Barbaresco, Treiso and Neive, where the family's historic grapes are grown and valorised.

The guidelines of Bruno Rocca's artisanal work have always been elegance, balance and the body, traits already loved by his parents and which he is teaching to his own children Francesco and Luisa: alongside work in the open air dictated by passion in collaboration with nature, he has built a highly specialized cellar.

The prized Barbareschi are born in an underground environment at a temperature never higher than 17°C: colour, aroma and structure emerge in nuances that are exhilarating for the senses and the mind.
