Description

Malvasia Myò Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a wine produced at the Zorzettig cellar in Spessa. It is one of the most important companies in the Friuli area known and appreciated all over the world. The grapes come from the Malvasia vines, grown on soils exposed to the South, rich in marl, limestone and sandstone. The climate mitigated by the presence of the Alps helps to give greater thickness to the plants. After the manual harvest, which takes place in the first ten days of September, the grapes are selected and only the best bunches are destemmed. Subsequently the alcoholic fermentation is carried out in steel tanks. The next phase is that of refinement, which always takes place in steel on the fine lees, for about 6 months. Malvasia Myò Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a persistent and intense wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for about 5 years.
