Rosa Moscato Alto Adige DOC Franz Haas 2021 50 cl

Moscato Rosa Alto Adige DOC is a passito produced by the Franz Haas winery, a company dedicated to the cultivation of the typical varieties of the Atesino area. This label, obtained from the exclusive vinification of the Moscato Rosa aromatic vine, is a perfect example of this production philosophy. The vines are grown in the Egna vineyards, where the substrates guarantee an ideal supply of nourishment. After the harvest, with manual selection of the overripe grapes, the work in the cellar begins with maceration. This phase lasts for a couple of days at the most, so as to extract only the color and instead avoid the more astringent tannins that would derive from prolonged contact. The wine then ages in large stainless steel tanks until the following spring. Already perfect after bottling, Moscato Rosa Alto Adige DOC is a passito wine that is also suitable for careful storage for a maximum of 5-6 years.
