Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The fertile soils of the Agro Pontino allow the Petit Verdot vine to supply the delicious grapes to produce the Lazio Petit Verdot IGT red wine from the Casale del Giglio winery. These grapes are of excellent quality thanks to the continuous exposure to the sun and the favorable microclimatic conditions due to the proximity to the sea. For almost 50 years, the winery has been making products with passion and dedication that fully enhance the typical characteristics of the Lazio region. Experience and tradition are the basis of the production technique of this wine right from the harvest phase which takes place only when the grapes have reached full maturity. After fermentation, the maturation of the must takes place in barriques to allow the wine to reach all its characteristics. The result is an intense and soft red wine at the same time, full-bodied at the right point and with a fruity aftertaste.
