'Piere' Sauvignon Friuli Isonzo DOC Vie di Romans 2021

Sauvignon Piere is a very interesting white wine, the cornerstone of the Vie di Romans winery, a very important reality in Friuli. This wine with a pleasant and soft drink has a really interesting expressive capacity. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Sauvignon grapes, a variety which in this appellation is expressed at very high quality levels. Following a careful harvest, aimed at identifying the best berries of this fragrant vine, the wine is aged for eight months directly on the lees inside steel tanks, a material that best preserves the varietal scents of the grape. The refinement phase then continues for another ten months directly in the bottle, to allow this white to seal all its aromatic scents. Ideal for dinners with friends, Sauvignon Piere di Vie di Romans is already excellent when young, but can boast a good evolution if it is left to rest for a maximum of 3/4 years in the cellar.
